Q: What is Dibs?

A: Dibs is the link to the Volunteer Site. In this area you can identify opportunities and apply for hours to fulfill the volunteer requirements of 12 hours per player.

Q: I don’t see any shifts available on DIBS. What am I doing wrong?

A: If you've followed the steps above, you're doing nothing wrong.  If you see nothing listed after you've logged into DIBS, this means that all shifts currently available have been claimed. Don’t worry, more will become available soon. The volunteer shifts are directly tied to the game schedules, so volunteer shifts will are added slowly at the beginning of the season until game schedules are finalized.

Q: Who do I contact if the weather is questionable for a game?

A: Call the SLPLL Hotline Number (612) 234-2281. You may be informed that the decision to cancel all games for the day has been made, or you may be informed that the decision will be made at the field. If the decision is to be made at the field, you should go to the field and be ready to play at the scheduled time. The umpires and managers will decide if the field is playable or not by the scheduled start time.
