Required for all Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and 18+ Umpires
All steps must be completed BEFORE the season starts. You will not be allowed to volunteer until these are all completed:
1. Register (annually)
- Sign yourself up on the SLP Little League website, typically when registering your child.
2. Background Check (annually)
- Upload your driver's license to SLP Little League website.
- Safety Officer will initiate an emailed background check questionnaire.
- Complete emailed questionnaire.
3. Abuse Training (annually)
- Complete Abuse Awareness Training.
- Upload certificate to your profile.*
4. Concussion Training (every 3 years)
- Complete CDC HEADS UP Concussion Training.
- Upload certificate to your profile.*
5. Coaching Leadership Training (one-time)
- Complete Diamond Leader Training Program.
- Upload certificate to your profile.*
*To upload certificates, log in to the SLP Little League website, Once logged in, navigate to "MY ACCOUNT" and then select the "VOLUNTEER" section from the side menu. Use the Edit (pencil) icon next to your name to access the document upload fields located at the bottom of the page.
